In the Board I was responsible for managing the three educational ships and the crews. After building a new inland Vessel (I was the Project manager) the Maritime Academy owns three Vessels. Each Vessel has a captain who was responsible for the operational management. The Captains reported to the manager of the Institute, and the manager of the Institute reports to me. I also was responsible for the International Maritime Affairs. Last Year I was one of the Founding Fathers of Edinna (Education Inland Navigation) in Strasbourg, France, with the cooperation of the CCR-ZKR. One of the major goals of Edinna is to join hands for a more structured and united professional training for future employees in Inland Navigation.
Beside managing the ships and International Maritime Affairs, I was responsible for HRM and Finance.

After the integration of three Educational Institutes one of the greatest educational institutes in the Netherlands was build (1700 employees, 12.500 students, apr. € 100.000.000,00 cash flow). As a member of the Board I reorganized the central shared services (personal&payroll, finance, Assets, and ICT). Beside the reorganization I had the responsibility for the overall Finance Policy, ICT Policy and Asset Policy . As Member of the Board I shared the responsibility for the Strategic Issues of the Institute. The educational Process takes place in 32 Business Units (The Schools) with a Director or Rector as Manager.

In a team with the educational Director we managed an Educational Institute (300 Employees, 3.200 Students and apr. € 27.000.000,00 Cash Flow). As a result of the Gouvernemental Policy we found two Strategic Partners to merge with to a new Institute on a larger Scale. I managed the Process to integrate the three institutes to a new One. After that Process I became a Member of the Board of the new Institute.

The Universty of Amsterdam First offered me a Job as the Head of the Internal Audit Office. After a few years I reorganised the Internal Audit Office to a Control Department. Beside the Financial Audits the Department became responsible for the Operational Audits and decision making advise to the Board.

I was responsible for the implementation and operationalisation of the declarationsytem under the WTZ. I advised the Biggest Health Insurance Company’s how to work with the Law. By analysing the policyadministration and the Payment administration, the used Software and the Organisation I advised how to manage the processes under the new Law.
