Acquired responsibility for full P&L for the Commercial Division of a global information company, incorporating several sales channels; strategic sales, territory management, telemarketing and business-to-business database marketing. Responsible for creating revenues of £20m, which generated profits of over £2.5m. Managed 350 full time employees, including analysts, IT, and operations staff at several operational locations, including Southern Ireland. Managed integration of this division from acquisition and achieved profit for the first time in 5 years.

Created a new division for a major American corporation to deal with major accounts and advertising agencies involving account handling, tracking, business planning, budgeting and administration support. Achieved a revenue increase from £7m to over £12m within 10 months. Reduced client complaints to less than 3% from 8%. Solved billing, invoicing and collection problems, reducing a loss of 18% of revenue to 2.5%.

Project managed a product launch for British Telecom. Involving a national advertising campaign, interviewing, training and managing Sales and Sales Support staff. Created revenue of £1.2m within 8 months.

Devised a Sales and Marketing strategy for GTE and supported the Directors in establishing a new Directory company in the UK. Recruited all staff levels including Telemarketers, Field sales, Data-capture and Administration staff. Negotiated building leases and equipment purchases.
