A subsidiary, Purple Arch Infotainment Systems, operates for several tour operators a digital interactive TV channel in their coaches traveling between The Netherlands and destinations in Spain. My assignment is the building of the organization and to strengthen the financial structure with investments from external investment companies.

Intergraph is supplier of IT solutions for the GIS, CAD and Process and Building market.
ICS manufactures NT based Graphical Workstations for MCAD, Digital Media, Virtual Reality and Prepress applications. ICS Europe has its headquarters in The Netherlands and subsidiaries in the different European countries that are responsible for sales and support in their area. Sales is mainly through specialized reseller channels. The general managers of the subsidiaries report directly to the European director Sales, Marketing and Support. Revenues 1998 : 250 Mio Dfl.
Results:
- Build up European Subsidiaries
- Build up European Marketing and support organization
- Compound Annual Growth Rate of sales since 1997 of 100%
- Build IT infrastructure for sales and reseller support in major countries
- Preparation of organization for merger with outside company


1995 - 1997 Moore Benelux, Amsterdam

Managing director (interim) of the Benelux subsidiaries of Moore Corporation.
Moore delivers products and services for Graphic Facility Management, E-commerce systems business forms and personalized mailings. (Revenues Benelux 100 Mio Dfl, 300 employees)
Results:
- Change strategic direction towards IT intensive activities
- Reorganized and integrated production plants (due to over capacity)
- Integration Dutch and Belgian sales organization
- Implementation of process improvement leading to significant better delivery times and quality improvement

Managing Director (interim) of a company with 40 Mio Dfl revenues, which produces and distributes worldwide electronic products for visual impaired and blind people. (Computer peripherals, PC’s with Braille output etc).
Besides the profit and revenue targets, the following was realized:
- Introduction of production management and logistic systems, supported by an integrated ERP system
- Concentration of all activities in one, rebuild location
- Change / prepare organization for expected fast growth
- Development and market introduction of completely renewed product portfolio

Managing Director of a group of related companies and business units which distributes medical instruments and disposables for usage in hospitals in The Netherlands, Belgium and France, with a sales volume of 110 Mio Dfl and 300 employees.
