• Coordinate a pool of 15 Field Service Engineers during emergency service assistance and large maintenance projects at major newspaper print shops worldwide • End-responsibility during urgent newspaper production malfunctions • Coordination of R&D teams to improve the performance of installed equipment • Test, research and development of a prototype newspaper press on location in the USA, Scandinavia, Germany and France during 6 month terms abroad • Acting as sales-representative for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG during the year 2000 ‘printing industry fair’ (DRUPA) in Germany because of the globally announced introduction from the new developed newspaper press.

• Set up of a new satellite office in Eindhoven (headquarters were near Amsterdam) • Recruiting potential project candidates at MBO and HBO technical education levels via intake interviews and active approach • Mapping and acquisition of new projects within local technical industries • Promotion of the new office in the region of Eindhoven

• Turn-key project. A 20 year old production line for Tube Lights had to be repaired, redesigned and positioned in a new factory hall in Poland. The scope of work included floor level measurements, translation of technical manuals, instruction and training of Polish mechanics, installation and testing. The installation succeeded within the required 6 months and the start-up was broadcasted on national television

1995 – 1996: BSME degree traineeship VDL-Group, Hapert, Netherlands
• The VDL Company did not have a good view on throughput duration of their products from the moment of ordering till delivery. The variation was very high. My task was to investigate and advice on possible improvements. Scope of work: interviews with sales people, production planning department, machine shop and work floor employees and management • Achievement was a change in machine shop layout and different production planning, virtually introducing LEAN related improvements before this became more common practice
