Work Experience

Suzanne is a financial software marketer with over 16 years sales and marketing experience at a senior level. Suzanne is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and started Flexit Marketing to offer a more flexible and focused marketing service to mainly IT companies. Flexit specialises in the B2B financial software market but can apply this expertise to the general software and IT markets plus other technical product areas.

Before starting Flexit Marketing in July 2002, Suzanne worked as Marketing Manager for Brainpower UK Ltd - a niche financial software providing decision support plus fund and equity data to asset managers and dealer/brokers. She was responsible for global marketing with a focus on 5 key international markets including the UK. Demand creation activities such as seminar, exhibitions and direct mail campaigns were key to this role along with corporate identity and lots of brochure work and technical copywriting.

Previously Suzanne was Marketing Communications Manager for SmartStream Technologies Ltd. SmartStream provide transaction management solutions to Banks, Custodians and Asset Managers and are a SWIFTReady Gold partner. During her 3 years at SmartStream (a division of Geac Computers until 2000) she created an identity for the brand and corporate image, new brochures and customer newsletter. There was also a key focus on demand creation activities including exhibitions, direct mail campaigns and seminars. Suzanne also created and managed a marketing team.

Suzanne was also Marketing Manager for Xanadu Systems, a distributor of X-Windows, TCP/IP and peripherals. Whilst at Xanadu, Suzanne organised a multi-location product launch, exhibitions and seminars, direct mail campaigns and sales incentive schemes.

Before becoming a Marketer, Suzanne was a Sales Consultant in the IT industry and has over 9 years experience in this field - invaluable in all aspects of demand creation.
