Belgian crane company with a yearly turnover of 200M€ sent me to Mexico for a one year’s mission to:
* start legal action against unreliable partner in order to dissolve a joint-venture that went sour
* create an investment company to house the 50 cranes they had sent to the country
* create an operational subsidiary
* relocate the reliable personnel into new offices and manage the over 150 full fte-blue collars
* develop a budgeting system

2006 Express delivery department of a taxi company / Brussels (night ops manager)
The Brussels company with over 800 cars and vans asked me for their parcel department to set up a night distribution system for magazines to supply about 1500 newspaper shops in both Brussels and the province of Brabant Walloon. Therefore, I:
* organized, developed, supervised and debriefed different rounds of about 30 vans
* installed a system with PDA's to instruct, control and automatically report from the drivers

1999–2004, Flathotel, Brussels (ceo)
Operational company managing the 100 apartments of the flat hotel group with a capital of over 5M€ in the center of Brussels. Organizing the:
* take over of a Swedish holding company, owner of the apartments
* creation of the operational company
* hiring and managing the personnel for the operations
* supervising of the renewal of the different apartments
* contracting services for owners of other apartments
* installation of a new telephone system and internet connection for the apartments
* facility management of the whole group, as well as of the buildings we handled for other owners

1994-2002,Transport company,Brussels(ceo)
The transport company was created with partners in Belgium, the UK, Ireland and Germany and had a turnover of 500 k€ with more than 40 white & blue collars. I organized the:
* development of an European overnight express network with a hub at Zaventem Airport, partners in the Western European countries and agents in the 5 continents
* 800m² warehouses in the Brussels area with logistic services to Belgian customers
* development of a national courier system to feed in and distribute parcels out of the system
* survey, packing and stowage of removal household

1984-1994, Transport company: Brussels (ceo)
SME with an initial capital of 18k€.
* creation of the company in the Brussels customs area, including a customs agency
* organizing the inbound transports and clearances by land, air and sea from all over the world for Reader's Digest Belgium and Holland
* managing the export of over 4000 full truck loads of salt (yearly) and its customs clearances from Holland into France for Akzo-Konezo
* organizing the internal daily transport of the Chemviron Carbon factory in Feluy and their international exceptional transports
* creation of a European overnight express system before Fedex and DHL came into the European market upon the request of the Australian TNT group.
