Corporate Account Executive - Belgacom Corporate & Data Solutions - Belgium
Period: May 1998 – March 2003
Function: Completely managing some of the largest Corporate customers of Belgacom.
Managing a team of several engineers, administrative and technical staff to ensure the best solutions for these customers. Taking care of customers relations, looking after their infrastructure and selling new national and international telecom solutions. And this on a high management/CEO level. Belgacom is the major telecom company in Belgium and has companies all over Europe and in the USA. Belgacom is a partner of Ameritech (now SBC) USA, Tele Danmark and Singapore Telecom.
Results: Selling of new data networks and telecom solutions all over the world.
Ended 1999 with a 160% of the business objective. We sold new solutions, mainly entire data networks in the period 2000/2002 to our clients. Overall customer satisfaction & loyalty are the two main building blocks for this success. Clients are Siemens, Basf and ExxonMobil.



General Manager - Person to Person Consulting - Belgium
Period: March 1997 - May 1998 (the company was sold to a partner)
Function: Managing the company and teaching e.g. time management and company policies to
the personnel of medium and corporate companies in Belgium. Giving solutions to their internal and external company problems. For instance, looking for better administrative or sales infrastructure, learning how to deal with other colleagues and managers, etcetera.
Results: Very positive reactions from clients, personnel and management.. The company had a
quick growth because of the positive reaction from its clients.



Interim Sales, Marketing & PR Manager Belgium - Boot Casting - The Netherlands
Period: contract from April 1996 till December 1996 (casting for actors, extra’s & models)
Function: The goal was setting up a Belgian subsidiary of the Dutch company. I had my office
in Amsterdam and Antwerp. I managed the Belgian company and had a sales team of ten persons. We did the public relations (television, newspapers, magazines, radio) for the production side of the business and for the customers side (actors and models).
Results:
At the end of the interim period the subsidiary existed. It had registered 3,500 members (actors and models) and had contacts with the biggest production companies.
A unique casting book was produced and sent out to the well know production companies in Western Europe and in the USA. The realisation of this subsidiary was the first step for Boot Casting to create more subsidiaries in Western Europe.








General Manager - USA # 1 Real Estate - Belgium & USA
Period: March 1994 - April 1996
Function: Completely managing the company. Selling real estate in the USA to Europeans
and this with sales teams in California and Florida (real estate companies). The public relations and marketing was done in the beginning through newspapers as The Herald Tribune, USA Today and The Times. I spend my working time in Europe and in the USA. I took my clients to the USA to inspect the houses and complete the contracts.
Results: In a short period of time I sold houses to clients in Germany, England, Norway and
The Netherlands. Customer satisfaction was the biggest drive in this business.




Independent Insurance Broker - ABB Insurance and Loans - Belgium
Period: February 1981 - April 1996
Function: Managing director of an independently owned insurance office.
Prospection of new clients in the residential and business area.
Selling all sorts of insurances and loans.
Results: After one year, the company was working on a full-time basis. I was a working member of different clubs and organisations. I managed to make it a profitable
company with a well known name within the business.
