Full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the controlling, accounting, supply management, and off-shore development units for this US$ 300 million international IT services and business consulting firm. Defined and developed corporate financial policies, set and administered budgets, and created and implemented improved business processes. Directed major projects, including mergers and acquisitions, in/outsourcing, and divestitures.

Established accounting and controlling processes, optimized supply management procedures, and supervised off-shore production capacity. Cash management responsibility included foreign currency transactions. Oversaw relationship management and retention with subsidiary companies. Provided in-house training in finance and business administration. As a member of the executive management team, supervised a staff of 25.
· Directed the set up of an off-shore software development site in India, employing a staff of 80, which generated savings of up to US$ 9 million annually.
· Served as Project Leader/Negotiator of an international Danish software company, purchased for US$ 10 million with turnaround resale projections of US$ 30 million.
· Negotiated the divestment of a shareholding in a Swiss Internet provider, originally purchased for US$ 500,000 and sold two years later for US$ 3 million.
· Implemented tight controlling process on a resource allocation project with annual savings exceeding US$ 1 million.
· Outsourced operational supply management for hardware/software to main supplier, significantly reducing staff and warehouse costs.

Spearheaded the analysis, creation, design, and implementation of IT projects in the area of flight planning for this US$ 5 billion airline. Served as project leader on two comprehensive mainframe projects to improve production planning and punctuality.
· Instrumental in the development of mid- and long-term production planning that significantly improved accuracy and productivity, thus increasing profit potential.
· Applied mathematical/statistical instruments to allow airline to improve flight time and schedule planning through enhanced database.
