· International Gaming – Turnover £800m
General Manager of autonomous division of a major betting and gaming organisation. Developed recently acquired U.S. division into a productive profit centre. The operating environment was both call-centre and Internet based. The 6 month assignment included:
· Defining the range of services
· Developing the marketing strategy
· Establishing people and business processes
· Staff recruitment
· Preparing the specification for an on-line gaming system.
At the end of the assignment the fully operating business was handed over to its new management team.

· Office Relocation – Security Company
Managed the City office relocation of the leading U.S. internet security firm maintaining their reputation for the highest level of security. The project covered all aspects of the relocation:
· Identification of space and business requirements
· Management of lease negotiations
· Selection of contractors and fitting out
· Installation of secure communication services.
The relocation was a complete success with no interruption to day-to-day business activities.

· e-commerce – international gifts
Conducted global research and produced a business plan to give the directors a clear path through to the launch of the service. The plan included:
· Developing customer profiles
· Definition of profiles of global retail partners
· Marketing and PR plan
· Financial modelling – capital investment plan, cash flow forecasts
· Identification of key market and timescales.
Using the business plan raised second round funding and launched the service.

· Freight Forwarding – Dangerous Drugs
Working with the board of directors, identified new markets and conducted a process re-engineering project on the overall business operation for this leading company transporting drugs and virus samples world-wide. The assignment resulted in the development of new markets – raising sales by 15% - whilst maintaining original overall operating costs through improved day-to day management of the business.

· Betting and Gaming – Market De-regulation
Working for a Swiss company with more than 4,000 outlets:
· Developed products and services
· Specified system and networking requirements
· Trained new management team.
The project, over 4 months, enabled the client operating in a newly de-regulated market to launch a range of new services which met all sales targets.

· Launch of new design college
This Italian post-graduate college was sponsored by Olivetti and Telecom Italia. The assignment was to establish operating policy and manage the launch. Key achievements:
· Defined business processes and best practices
· Recruited key staff
· Project Managed the launch to 500 guest including politicians, clergy, press and academic specialists.
