Joint-venture with French bank BIGT (Groupe Lagardère). Compensation, countertrade transactions and Market Share Expansion Finance & Asset Value Finance. Played a major role in developing and codifying these products into systematic techniques which can permit companies to liberate the value tied up in underperforming assets. Clients were large capital intensive companies in chemicals, paper, printing, shipping etc., including Du Pont, ICI, Akzo, Sealand, Courtaulds, Caradon, Unilever, Sears, Phillips Petroleum.
1995 - present Non-executive Director of DANS-EZ INTERNATIONAL Ltd, London. Manufacturers of high quality dance and exercise products. Advice on development and marketing of the product line and general business development.
1990 - 1994 Managing Director STRATEX FRANCE S.A.R.L. - suppliers of branded and private label childrenswear to mass distributors in France and UK. Negotiated licence for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, three other major licences and distribution of Walt Disney & Nintendo products for France & Switzerland. Set up the start-up company and sales of FF 30 million in first year and FF 5 million profit.

1988 - 1990 Director European Operations - STS GRAPHICS Inc., Anaheim, California,
the largest producer of printed T shirts in the United States, and holder of the "OCEAN PACIFIC" licence, amongst others. Business development, Europe.
1987 - 1989 Consultant to LOWE ALPINE SYSTEMS LTD., Tullamore, Ireland. (Silent Night
Holdings PLC).
Set up the clothing division of this "outdoor" equipment company.
Drew up the product/marketing strategy, recruited the merchandising and design personnel and steered the new division through its first four seasons. Lowe Alpine is now a leading company in the fast growing "outdoor" market.

Developed a highly focused marketing strategy which enabled us to more than double sales from Lit. 23 billion to Lit. 49 billion ($ 56 million) in three years.

Restructuring in a changing jeans market. Supervised rationalisation of product lines and move to outsourced manufacturing.

Medium size manufacturing company, making knitted fabrics (knitting, dyeing, and screen-printing) and leather gloves. Suppliers to Marks & Spencer and other major retail chains.
Cut overheads, set up management control systems, redesigned the product lines and returned the company to profit within 3 years.
1972 - 1976 Director EUROPATEX - International trading in textiles and apparel.
Developed cotton/lycra weft knit fabrics for swimwear and underwear. Joint promotion with Du Pont on this range and introduced the fabrics to all major swimwear and underwear producers in the UK.
