OL-Vrouwziekenhuis Aalst: Unit Manager Pharmacy (January 2002 – June 2004)

Being in charge of a group of 50 people, pharmacists as well as administrative clerks, lab assistants and warehousemen, situated on 3 campi (Aalst, Asse, Ninove) , I am in charge of all project management within the pharmacy (for the 3 campi). This mainly implies:
Description and improvement of existing processes, development and implementation of new business processes
Implementation of all IT projects within the pharmacy environment, also managing cross-departmental projects
Implementation of the merger between the hospitals of Aalst and Asse,
Participation in and implementation of all logistic projects related to the pharmacy


Belgacom: Implementation and Operations Manager (June 2000 – December 2001)

I was responsible - within the customer service for the home and business market - for impact analysis and implementation of all IT projects – one of the largest projects being the implementation of CRM in my department - as well as office automation management (maintenance of over 2000 PC’s)
I was accountable for keeping CSE operationally up to speed by providing quick win solutions (development of small, mostly web based, applications) and maintaining the CSE owned hardware.
I was in charge of a team of 20 people, both at staff level as at field level.

Belgacom: Manager Call Center Transformation Team (July 99 – June 2000)

In July 1999 I was asked to be in charge of the full Call Center Automation Project, leading a team of 4 people, hence becoming responsible for analysis and implementation of the cross-divisional After Sales Project (as described in paragraph below) the cross-divisional SON project, a service ordering application and the CTI project, all equally used in call centers of both Residential and Business customer divisions




Belgacom: Business Analyst (July 98 – July 99) :

In July 1998 I was requested to come and join the Call Center Automation Project, where I became responsible for analysis and implementation of the cross-divisional After Sales Project, a complaint handling application, used by over 1000 users in both Residential and Business Customer Services. I facilitated a cross-divisional team to define business requirements, functional specifications, user acceptance criteria, test cases. The job also included consultancy on testing, training, developing business methods and procedures.
The business benefits include :
- Saving 25 FTE’s by introducing automatic routing of tickets and enabling on line resolution of complaints/requests
- Improving customer satisfaction by using follow ups, call backs, single point of contact, sales leads
- Reducing work time through CTI
- Facilitating improved sales opportunity



Belgacom: IT coordinator (September 97 - June 98) :

Belgacom Residential Customer Service
Responsible for coordination of IT within the call centers, back ends and written complaints services in Gent and Kortrijk. This involved application and system support, providing necessary hardware and working closely with local IT helpdesks.

Volvo: Analyst-Programmer (February 94 - August 97) :

Responsible for analyzing, programming, testing and overall maintenance of all applications owned by the personnel department (including salary system for both blue and white collars and time registration), medical department, and travel department.
