Pivotal role in the transformation of an energy company to an E-Business offering B2C services. At the time probably the largest E-business venture in Europe, valued at £15million with 150 E-Business specialists from a major consortium. Successfully effected key transitions in the development lifecycle from strategy to implementation, in an unusually complex and difficult environment.
Appointed by a leading professional services company to lead a new business venture focused on the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. With full P&L responsibility, developed and sold innovative new services. Consequently grew profitable annual revenues from £750k to £4million in the period 1997-99.
Started a new business venture in IT outsourcing. Submitted proposals to global clients valued in excess of £100million, closing £20million in revenues. Consequently promoted to Head of European Operations with responsibility for 16 locations in 10 countries across Europe.
Started a new business venture in IT management systems. Developing the proposition around Hewlett Packard and Cisco technology, built sales, marketing and technical teams.
