Responsibilities:
Management of Finance, Administration and IT Departments (in total 20 staff out of 150).
Preparing budgets, statutory and management accounts for 1999-2001 for five offices.

Accomplishments:
Totally restructured the finance department, reducing the headcount while at the same time improving the quality and timeliness of the reporting. This involved, amongst other things, the implementation of new software as well as new working practices.
Reduced working capital requirements
Ensured compliance with tax and legal requirements on pan European basis
Dramatically improved the financial performance of the company
Overcame extreme reluctance to change by training, demonstration, sheer energy, and where necessary, politics.
Reason for wanting to leave: The company has recently consolidated all its European operations under one legal entity, substantially reducing my European role.
